Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors Meetings and Coffee Klatch
| Sonora, CA
One of the most powerful ways to stay engaged in our local democracy is simply to show up.
The Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month, with occasional special meetings called as needed. These meetings are where decisions are made about county policy, budgets, public services, land use, and the issues that directly affect our daily lives.
Being present at these meetings whether to listen, learn, or speak helps ensure that we are heard and seen.
Why Local Engagement Matters
National politics often feel overwhelming and out of our control. Local government is different.
At the county level:
- Decisions are closer to home.
- Leaders are accessible.
- Public comments get attention.
- Community engagement influences outcomes.
Staying engaged locally is one of the most practical and impactful forms of civic participation.
