Project: Watch Walmart Prices Rise

Walmart just warned that prices are going up—soon. Why? Tariffs.

Due to Trump’s escalating trade war, new tariffs are hitting imports hard—especially goods from China, Latin America, and beyond. In response, Walmart executives said they’ll be raising prices on items like:

• Baby strollers
• Car seats
• Xboxes and other electronics
• Bananas, avocados, coffee, and more

We’re launching a local grassroots project to track it.

We're not asking you to do anything fancy—just keep an eye out. Snap a photo of price tags next time you’re at Walmart and help us document the real-time effects of these policies on everyday families in our community. We'll use this data to spotlight how working people are bearing the cost of these tariffs while corporations continue to profit.

This is what resistance looks like: making the invisible visible.
