Our community is coming together for Stuff the Bus, a one-day donation drive supporting unsheltered and struggling people in Tuolumne County.

Hosted by Compassion Outreach and Tuolumne County Indivisible, this event is a simple, meaningful way to help meet urgent needs during the coldest months of the year.

Whether you’re already out shopping or can make a special trip, every donation makes a difference.

What to Donate

We are gratefully accepting new or gently used items, including:

Warm Outerwear

  • Jackets and coats
  • Sweaters
  • Hats and beanies
  • Warm socks
  • Rubber boots

Shelter & Warmth (on site cash or Cash App donations will go towards higher ticket items)

  • Tarps
  • Blankets
  • Sleeping bags
  • Sleeping pads
  • Tents

Essentials

  • Hand warmers
  • Personal hygiene items
  • Flashlights and headlamps
  • Propane canisters
  • Batteries

Pet Supplies

  • Cat food
  • Dog food

💙 Cash donations are also welcome and will be used specifically for tents and tarps.

Donations are also accepted at Nancy’s Hope, Monday–Friday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

If you’re unable to donate items, you can contribute financially through Nancy’s Hope to support ongoing outreach efforts.
