Together, We Rise
From fruit fields in California to classrooms in Chicago, from kitchens in Queens to loading docks in Atlanta—working people across the country are rising up. This May Day, Tuolumne County joins over 1,000 events in a nationwide movement to reclaim power from billionaires and corporate elites who are trying to dismantle the rights, dignity, and protections workers, families, and community members have fought generations to secure.
Why We’re Rallying in the Sierra Foothills
Here in Tuolumne County, we know what’s at stake. Our rural communities rely on public service workers, federal and state jobs, tourism, education, and healthcare. These are the lifelines of our economy—and they are under threat.
Billionaires like Musk and Trump are moving fast and breaking things:
- Opening up public lands for a made up "energy crisis"
- Defunding schools and essential services for children
- Unnecessarily putting Social Security and Medicaid at extreme risk (employers and employees pay into these trust funds)
- Attacking unions and workers’ rights
- Targeting immigrants and marginalized communities with illegal invasions, arrests, and renditions to foreign gulags.
This is a war on every single one of us. And we are not backing down.
Enough is enough!
May Day Stong - With a Powerful Message
Join us as we rally in non-violent protest to defend the rights of workers, immigrants, families and really, all individuals across the Foothills and beyond.
We’re organizing for a world where everyone has:
- Fair wages and union protection
- Fully funded schools and healthcare
- Safe housing and public services
- Freedom of Rights—regardless of race, immigration status, or zip code - this includes due process!

Join Us
We are in this for the long haul. Gone are the days when we would simply vote and carry on with our lives. Getting involved is the only way forward, whether it be on a local level, State, and/or Federal. You are part of our future.
This is the beginning of a new era—one where the everyday working person is put above billionaires, immigrants are protected, and no one is left behind.
We are not intimidated. We are organized. And we are showing up.
Bring your signs, your voices, and your people.
