🚨 National Day of Action: Fight the Trump Takeover 🚨

The Texas House Democrats are denying quorum to stop Trump’s takeover of Texas and block his attempt to rig the 2026 midterms. But Trump isn’t stopping in Texas, he’s also targeting Missouri, Ohio, Florida, and every state he can twist to help him steal Congress next year.

This week, Trump went even further by federalizing Washington D.C. and singling out New York City, Los Angeles, Baltimore, Chicago, and Oakland, California as potential future targets. This is a drastic escalation of federal presence on the streets of American cities.

States like California and New York are starting to fight back. Let’s be clear: this fight started in Texas, but it doesn’t end there. This isn’t about redistricting; it’s about the future of our democracy. Trump knows he can’t win on his ideas, so he’s trying to silence voters, especially communities of color. We’re not going to let that happen.

📅 When: Saturday, August 16th
🕒 Time: Meet at 9:15 AM, sign wave 9:30–10:30 AM
📍 Where: Walmart “mechanics” parking lot (west side of the building), then walk to Wards Ferry Rd. overpass

What to bring:

• Large, clear signs (visible through chain link fencing)
• Hangers or clip-style fasteners to attach signs
• Water to stay hydrated

💧 After the sign wave, we’ll collect bottled water donations for Camp Justice — showing we care for one another during these times.

This is part of a National Day of Action, with an anchor rally at the Texas Capitol in Austin. Across the country, people will gather to make it clear: we see what Trump is doing, and we won’t stand for it.
